IOH Disability Services are focused on delivering high quality Allied Health Services to NDIS participants. This service aims to listen and provide treatment, which is focussed towards that persons individual goals, increasing their ability to participate in everyday life, activities of daily living, their community and employment; keeping them within the mainstream community.
We aim to provide a service that inspires self-determination, choice and control and encourages ever-increasing independence, through personalized treatment approaches.
Our Occupational Therapist’s are skilled with navigating the NDIS, to help you achieve your individual goals.
We can assist with:
- ADL and self care assessments
- Carer training
- Manual Handling and Transfer rehabilitation
- Home assessments and minor/major home modifications
- Equipment prescription inclusive of specialized wheelchairs,
mobility scooters, walking frames, transfer aids and self care
equipment
- Falls prevention
- Fatigue management
- Paediatric therapy including early intervention,
school readiness programs, handwriting and fine
motor skills
- Functional and Pre – Plan Assessments
- Adult Therapy, including ADL retraining, cognitive rehabilitation, upper limb therapy and community access
- SIL/SDA Recommendation Assessments and Reports
